S&P Global Dow Jones Sustainability Index

In 2022, HOCHTIEF was included in the internationally renowned Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the 17th time in succession for its performance in the areas of business/governance, environment, and social responsibility. S&P Global determined the highest sustainability score worldwide for the HOCHTIEF Group in the "Construction & Engineering" sector of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index.

MSCI ESG-Rating “AA”

MSCI ESG ratings aim to assess companies' resilience to long-term ESG risks. Here, HOCHTIEF was awarded the second-highest rating of "AA" for the seventh time in a row in 2022.

Sustainalytics

Sustainalytics' ESG Risk Rating is composed of the assessment of ESG Risk Exposure and Corporate ESG Risk Management. HOCHTIEF is given a "Strong" ESG Risk Management rating by Sustainalytics, making it one of the leading companies in the Construction & Engineering sector.

EcoVadis

The EcoVadis rating reflects the quality of the company's sustainability management system. Here, HOCHTIEF was awarded the Platinum Medal in 2023, placing it among the top one percent of the more than 100,000 companies assessed worldwide.

In the renowned CDP Climate Change Ranking, HOCHTIEF 2022 again achieved a B score and is thus once again well above the average for all companies assessed.

HOCHTIEF was again listed in the FTSE4Good Index in 2022 with an ESG score of 3.3 (0-5).

In 2023, HOCHTIEF came in second in the annual ENR "Top 250 International Contractors" ranking. HOCHTIEF is ranked twelfth among the "Top 250 Global Contractors." In addition, the company was listed in six more categories:
