energy management. Plus our concessions and operation business with the airport holdings, the public-private-partnership

Property management
HOCHTIEF Property Management is one of the leading property management providers in Germany. The company successfully performs
its services for real estate investors and, as representative of owner interests, makes a lasting contribution to optimize the
ROI of property investments.
In addition, HOCHTIEF provides comprehensive asset management. This includes identifying the asset development potential of an
individual property or entire portfolio and then tapping this potential. Working in close cooperation with project developers,
construction engineers and facility managers, company experts determine whether an existing building should be modernized,
converted or disposed of.
The planning phase entails drawing up a strategy which takes all cost and revenue options into account. This strategy is then
systematically implemented: operation and utilization are optimized, new concepts are put into practice, a search is initiated
for investors and occupants and the properties concerned are marketed.

Facility management
With its integrated facility management service, HOCHTIEF offers its clients competent, end-to-end management and operation of
real estate and facilities. The range includes technical, infrastructural and commercial building management–from maintenance,
repairs and energy supply through the servicing of production equipment.
In this way, we help to ensure full functionality, project efficiency and asset maintenance. HOCHTIEF experts provide services for
pre- and post-construction processes. This enables effective structures to be planned in good time as the basis for subsequent
economical management. The objective always is sustained, practical operation at costs which are kept to a minimum.
HOCHTIEF Facility Management
Energy management
One of Germany's foremost energy contracting firms, we ensure the efficient operation of energy systems in industry as well as for
public and private-sector buildings. HOCHTIEF operates, improves, finances and refurbishes systems for the generation and distribution
of heating, ventilation and air conditioning, refrigeration, compressed air, electricity, light and water. In this way, we reduce our
clients' operating costs and make it possible to save some 150,000 metric tons of carbon emissions a year.
HOCHTIEF Energy Management
Concessions and operation business
HOCHTIEF is geared to sustainable and profitable growth. An important element in this growth strategy are our intensive and steadily
expanding activities in the concessions and operation business. This includes the airports, roads and social infrastructure segments and
further public-private partnership (PPP) projects.
Recognizing the growing importance of the concessions business to HOCHTIEF, we created a new
HOCHTIEF Concessions division together with a company of the same name,
HOCHTIEF Concessions GmbH, in spring 2008. In early
November 2009, the company reincorporated as a German stock corporation (Aktiengesellschaft). HOCHTIEF Concessions, the parent company of
HOCHTIEF AirPort and HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions, considers itself to be one of the world's leading industrial infrastructure investors.
The new structure allows closer cooperation and the reaping of synergies in market development, business planning, special operator
responsibilities and other technical areas–making us a strong partner for our clients.
HOCHTIEF Concessions AG has stakes in airports, roads, schools, police facilities, service centers, military bases and geothermal
energy projects worldwide. In addition, two investment partnerships are in place.
The second competence center in the operator and concessions business within the HOCHTIEF Group is the Australian subsidiary
Leighton Holdings Limited which mainly operates in Australia and Southeast Asia.
