HOCHTIEF was one of the sponsors of the conference "Tunnels Connect", organized by the Study Association for Underground Traffic Systems (STUVA – Studienverbindung für unterirdische Verkehrsanlagen e.V) at the end of November 2007 in Cologne. The conference takes places every two years – at various exhibition sites. In this year's host city, Cologne, HOCHTIEF is constructing the north-south light rail system. It's an extremely ambitious project that attracts international attention due to its distinctive requirements and special technical features. HOCHTIEF Construction was also represented with its own booth as one of 120 exhibitors from 29 countries. The company's projects met with great interest. The next STUVA conference will take place from December 1 to 3, 2009, in Hamburg.
