Augsburg hospital saves 17,000 tons CO2
The Klinikum Augsburg hospital and HOCHTIEF Energy Management have signed one of
the largest energy savings contracts in Germany. The company is upgrading the
entire cooling and steam boiler facilities as well as a large part of the
ventilation system. This will not only save the hospital 2.6 million euros, but
also benefit the environment: CO2 emission will be reduced by 17,000 tons per
year.
