Postbank saves energy thanks to HOCHTIEF
Under the terms of a ten-year energy contracting agreement that the two companies have just signed, in future HOCHTIEF Energy
Management (HTEM) will be reducing the energy costs at eight Postbank sites by a total of 15 percent per annum. At the same time
the energy service provider will ensure that annual CO2 emissions at the sites are reduced by a total of 4,500 tons.
New heating and building management systems
HOCHTIEF Energy Management will be undertaking various measures to achieve the contractually agreed savings target, including upgrading
the heating systems, optimizing the air conditioning systems and modernizing the building management systems. HOCHTIEF will also centrally
monitor, control and document the operation of the heating and air conditioning systems, resulting in greater energy efficiency in all of
the buildings.
One of the nine buildings which is optimized by HTEM in terms of energy consumption is located on Kennedyallee in Bonn.Copyright: Peter Schneider
