Executive Board
Dr.-Ing. Martin Rohr,
born in 1955, was appointed to the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft in Essen in June, 2004 where
he is responsible for the Real Estate division and the Services division.
Civil engineering studies at Technical University Braunschweig, then deputy head of construction materials at the
testing institute Baustoffprüfinstitut Prof. Gragger – Dr. Löffler in St. Ingbert. Dr. Rohr obtained
his doctorate at the University of Hanover and, following an internship with the City of Hamburg, passed his final
state examination as Construction Assessor. After having gained first professional experience, he joined Otto Rohr
GmbH & Co. KG in Helmstedt as an authorized signatory in 1986. In 1994, this company group was acquired by the
HOCHTIEF Group, within which Dr. Rohr was initially responsible for the commercial management of Deutsche Gleis-
und Tiefbau GmbH in Berlin, before becoming manager of HOCHTIEF's Bavaria main branch. In 1999, Dr. Rohr was appointed
Management Board Chairman of the Civil Division and joined the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF in December 2000. In April
2001, Dr. Rohr became a member of the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Construction AG.
