The Group's procurement strategy derives directly from our procurement mission: We strive to enhance the value provided to our clients and to strengthen the position of HOCHTIEF in the market place by applying best-in-class methods.

We achieve this by

  • establishing a Procurement Steering Committee and a Procurement Board as global collaboration platforms. It is their mission to strategically improve our purchasing activities, implement the measures identified to lasting effect, and get new initiatives started
  • establishing effective networks, which optimize the cooperation between clients, our procurement entities, subcontractors and suppliers
  • striving permanently for maximum value added and cost reductions
  • optimizing processes and systems, both internally and in cooperation with our suppliers and subcontractors implementing guidelines, principles and procedural instructions in a transparent and consistent manner
