HOCHTIEF's purchasing volume accounts for more than 75 percent of total annual
corporate output, so our procurement strategy is quite clearly a decisive factor
in ensuring the success of the HOCHTIEF Group.
The Group's procurement strategy derives directly from the goal defined for the procurement process: the application of best-in-class methods to utilize procurement within HOCHTIEF in order to enhance value for ourselves and add value for our clients.
We achieve this by
- establishing effective networks which optimize cooperation between clients, procurement, subcontractors and suppliers
- permanently striving for maximum added value and cost reduction
- obtaining competitive advantages by means of innovative ideas and measures and by optimizing processes and systems, both internally and in cooperation with our suppliers and subcontractors
- implementing guidelines, principles and procedural instructions in a transparent and unified manner.
