Athens:
- In 2011, the airport was used by 14.4 million passengers (-6.3% vs. 2010) (preliminary figures).

Budapest:
- In 2011, with 8.9 million passengers (+8.9% vs. 2010), Budapest Airport achieved an all time high exceeding the record reached in 2007 by approx. 320.000.
- Jet2.com will offer a service to Leeds Bradford Airport twice a week from March 29 on. For Jet2.com it will be the third route between an UK airport and Budapest.

Düsseldorf:
- 2011 was the most successful traffic year in the history of the airport. Düsseldorf International served more than 20 million passengers (+7.1% vs. 2010).
- Etihad Airways commenced in December to offer a connection to Abu Dhabi and will expand this service from four times a week to daily from April on.

Hamburg:
- The airport has achieved an all time high in passenger numbers. In 2011, approx. 13.6 million passengers (+4,6% vs. 2010) used the airport. The number of air traffic movements increased by only 0.6% due to the use of larger aircrafts.
- Air France announced to offer a service to Toulouse five times a week from April on.

Sydney:
- The airport has achieved an all time high in passenger numbers. In 2011, approx. 35.6 million passengers (+0.2% vs. 2010) used the airport.
- AirAsia X announced to start daily services to Kuala Lumpur from April on.
- Qantas announced to use A380 aircrafts on four weekly flights to Hong Kong upgauging from B747-400.
- Virgin Australia will start daily services to Melbourne from May. Tiger Airways will increase its frequencies on the same route from March to October. The route is one of the busiest in the world.
- Jetstar commenced to offer a twice weekly service to Queenstown and is operating additional services to Bali, Honolulu and Phuket until end of January 2012.

Tirana:
- The airport has achieved an all time high in passenger numbers. In 2011, approx. 1.8 million passengers (+18.2% vs. 2010) used the airport.
- Olympic Airlines commenced to offer a twice weekly service to Thessaloniki.
- The airport announced to start the planning phase for the next extension of the terminal in 2012 with construction works to start in 2013. Focus will be on the arrivals area and the departure gates.
