Sponsorship: Focus on education and Bauhaus
In terms of donation and sponsorship strategy, HOCHTIEF also pursues a single Group-wide concept. Our
activities focus on education/fostering young talent and Bauhaus/modern architecture.
On the one hand, we see our commitment as a social obligation. On the other, HOCHTIEF is intensifying its
dialog with clients, employees and the public beyond its normal business.
As an international construction services provider, the company feels a special obligation to the preservation
of modern architecture. This era began in 1919 with the foundation of the Bauhaus in Weimar. Since the end of
the 1990s, we have supported the Bauhaus legacy with various projects.
With regard to our other main area of sponsorship, we consider the promotion of training and continuing education
as an important investment in the future. We are committed to children and adolescents, as well as socially
disadvantaged people of all ages.
