Executive Board
Dr. rer. pol. Burkhard Lohr,
born in February 1963, was appointed to the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft as of January 1, 2006. He is
Chief Financial Officer of the Group, Executive for Labour Relations and responsible for Finance/Investor Relations,
Controlling, Auditing, Tax functions and Human Ressources.
Lohr studied business administration theory in Cologne. Before even starting his degree course, he had already worked
as a construction accounts executive at HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft. After gaining his degree he first worked for the
Group financial control department of Mannesmann AG. In 1993 Lohr returned to HOCHTIEF as an employee in the Group
auditing department. In 1995 he took over operational management responsibilities in Munich and Essen, which included
management of the accounting functions in various general building, civil engineering, and structural engineering departments.
In 2001 Lohr gained his doctorate at the Technical University of Braunschweig. In January 2002, he became a member of the
Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Construction AG.
