The Americas division coordinates the activities of the HOCHTIEF companies in the USA and Brazil.
Via its subsidiary Turner
HOCHTIEF is a leading player in general building in the USA, the world's biggest construction market.
Turner has long been Number 1 in the high-growth market segments of educational, healthcare
and commercial real estate plus the area of sustainable building also known as Green Building. At the
same time the company is becoming increasingly involved in the services sector. Through Turner Logistics,
for instance, our US subsidiary delivers complex procurement services for both Turner projects and external
customers. The company has particular expertise in the expanding business segment of hospital provisioning.
Since September 2007 the civil engineering company
Flatiron
has been rounding out Turner's general building business. Via the new subsidiary, HOCHTIEF can make an entry into the US
infrastructure market.
Subsidiary HOCHTIEF do Brasil has been one of the
leading construction companies in the Brazilian market for decades. In addition to building and infrastructure construction the
Brazilian company has also been providing facility management services since early 2007.
