Bosphorus Bridge

A milestone in bridge building: In the early 1970s, HOCHTIEF was involved in constructing the first bridge over the Bosphorus. The six-lane link was completed in 1973. Today, this suspension bridge measuring over 1.5 kilometers in length still connects the European and Asian halves of Istanbul—bridging gaps in every sense of the word. For us, it’s a nice reminder that our business is about more than constructing according to blueprints. It’s about building bridges.
