| HOCHTIEF‘s subsidiary Turner Construction Company has won three new contracts in the healthcare and educational segments. The Turner subsidiary Tompkins Builders Inc. will serve as the general contractor in the construction of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington, D.C., and will also construct an addition to Langley Air Force Base Hospital in Virginia. In addition, Turner Construction was selected as general contractor for the construction of a new high school in West Sacramento, California. The three contracts represent a combined volume of EUR 231 million (USD 303 million). St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington will accommodate 230 beds and be completed in March 2009. The three-story addition to Langley Air Force Base Hospital is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2008. The client of West Sacramento High School is the Washington Unified School District. The school is designed to accommodate 2,000 students and is scheduled to be ready for teaching in the fall of 2008.Turner is among the leading construction companies in the US healthcare market.
