We basically offer all possible fields of internships, especially in technical areas where applicants are continuously sought. For a domestic internship you should be enrolled at a university and you should be able to show the first good grades. Ideally you should allow at least 8 weeks for an internship.

The more time you have for an internship, the more valuable the experience will be. Should you only have limited time because of your study requirements then it may be advisable to think about doing a semester internship. It is worth it: in a future application as a junior employee it can only be of an advantage to have had some internship experience.

For internships abroad we are looking for students studying Civil Engineering, Construction Phase Management, Technical Installations, Industrial Engineering with Business Studies and Business Administration. It would be ideal if you are completing the last third of your studies. Furthermore you should have a very good command of the English language and an interest in other cultures. Additional foreign languages would be an advantage along with good grades during your studies and some work experience at HOCHTIEF maybe, and you should also be able to demonstrate teamwork and good communication skills, flexibility and commitment.
