Can a provider of construction services be an attractive employer? According to the study "trendence Graduate barometer“, this question can be answered in the affirmative. In the ranking of the top 100 employers for engineers, HOCHTIEF came 17th. About 52,000 students participated in the study of the independent research institute trendence this year. They elected the most interesting employer in the fields of engineering.
HOCHTIEF once more ranks among the top employers in Germany in 2017. In a recent survey by employer branding consultants "Universum", HOCHTIEF came 11th in the engineers category. Universum carries out the survey annually. For the current study, the company interviewed 40,625 students at 206 German universities.
HOCHTIEF once more ranks among the top employers in Germany in 2014. Engineers who have been working between a minimum of one year and a maximum of eight years in their profession have voted our company on rank 19 when answering the question for whom they would prefer to work. Almost 1,000 young professionals participated in the independent study of Universum Communications and gave their feedback on employer attractiveness and career expectations. Each survey participant chose up to five ideal employers from a list of 150 companies. Giving one company several votes was also possible. The Universum Professional Survey was held from June to October 2014.
In a survey among roughly 12,000 pupils nearing their school-leaving exams, HOCHTIEF was voted on rank 80 and thus is among the top 100 most attractive employers once more. Since 2003 trendence has carried out this study to find out the preferences of pupils regarding the image of companies, the pupils’ plans for the future, their communication approach and their expectations concerning the job market.
In a survey among more than 300,000 university students in Europe, HOCHTIEF was once more selected as one of the 500 most attractive employers in Europe in 2014. In the annual online survey organized by trendence on the expectations and preferences in connection with the students’ entry into the job market, HOCHTIEF achieved rank 97 in the category Engineering/IT Edition in Europe. The students were asked about the attractiveness of companies, how they approach their job entry search and what criteria are relevant for them in this context.
In the ranking "Preferred Employers 2013" initiated by the Internet platform CSR Jobs in cooperation with the German CSR magazine "forum Nachhaltig Wirtschaften" and personnel consultants HRmatic, HOCHTIEF was taken up into the shortlist. The construction group thus is among the top 20 German companies that convinced the jury with their measures and programs for employees and with the basic principles of their HR work. The ranking evaluated the information delivered by the companies on subjects such as values and culture, diversity, work-life balance, personnel development measures, social and employee engagement as well as resource preservation and climate protection.
In 2013 Flatiron was named a Top Employer for Young People in Canada. The annual award, now in its 11th year, is managed by the editors of the Canada's Top 100 Employers project. The 2013 list includes 80 employers chosen by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers based on their programs for younger workers. Editors also examined each employer's mentorship and training programs.
For the second year in a row, Flatiron was recognized in 2013 as a Best Workplace in Canada on the annual list published by the Globe and Mail. Flatiron earned the No. 49 spot on the list of the best large workplaces in Canada. The list of "Best Workplaces in Canada" is compiled by Great Place to Work® Institute Canada. Workplaces are selected based on a 58-statement employee survey and an in-depth review of the organization's culture and human resources policies and procedures. More than 57,000 employees from more than 300 nominated companies participated in the 2013 competition.
