HOCHTIEF Taking Part in Construction of Offshore Wind Farms

HOCHTIEF is using two of its own jack-up platforms to play a key role in the construction of wind farms at sea. The platforms are used for the installation of not only facilities, but also pile foundations for large bridges. The second platform was christened in May 2010: The Thor is the larger of the two and can be deployed in water as deep as 50 meters. here.
